This is for my first card night for 2015. DSP is from the up coming sale-a-bration. Stamps are also from Sale-a-bration as well as the up coming Occassions catalogue.

Just Love these feathers
I saw this one from Teneale Williams and just new I wanted to give it a go. I went for Pool Party on mine and changed up the 'blotches' but essentually it is almost the same.
Its probably one of the things I love about the paper craft world is that you don't have to be original all the time. Thats what why we put our pictures up. Some days you just love someones work so much you just want to recreate it.
PS. Where possible I will always link to the original artist or inspiration.
Gee Thanks
This is one I did a couple of weeks ago, but I can't find thgis inspiration....when found I will link. I am loving combining lots of different colours in a card.
Feathers
I have been itching to play with the Stampin'Up Four Feathers set. I saw this card on Pinterest and just knew I had to recreate it using this set.
I originally did the background with watercolour paper but was unhappy with the result so I pulled out Whisper White and tried it. The result was much better and even though Whisper White 'bubbles' with water the effect gave the card extra texture.

Lullaby DSP
I love the confetti look of the design in this piece of DSP, it also comes in pink. Might play around with a few designs using this paper.
Beau Chateau DSP
This beautiful paper is currently on the Stampin Up! clearance rack, it has such versitile and classic designs, and all coordinating colours are still current. I am liking this layout so I may make a few variations and colour combinations .

Fathers Day
Inspired by this card.
I was a little disappointed in this card. I am hoping to have the opportunity to have another go when some of my new stamps arrive from the new 2014-15 catalogue. I wanted to do this card for my August card night and needed to start photographing.
The card that inspired me only has a small view and I am sure it is a square card. I think the print background creates too many lines on this version. I will redo and see which one I like better.

Make a Wish
Inspired by this card.
Today marks the time to start a new blog. The last blog I had I have wiped and restarted several times, and I have been thinking it is time to start fresh. I also wanted to change the name. Sego is a name I invented quite a while ago, the letters are the initials of my 2 daughters names combined to make a word. I see so many clever names that people call their blogs and this is one I have been longing to use as it is very personal to me.
This card I made today is ready for my August stamping night at my house. I love the process of turning what was plain card stock and giving it a life of it's own. I could have gone with Crumb Cake as it would be closer to the card I was casing, but I am loving the richness of Baked Brown Sugar at the moment.
